Wednesday, November 25. 2009

I'd like to thank all of our great campers, V.I.P. players, and program organizers for making the 2009 Hall of Fame weekend such a memorable experience.  Somewhere between the late night karaoke sessions and weekend awards ceremony [thanks, guys, for the boa], the group made some long-lasting bonds.

Event Update

glenns global games

Hello everyone!

It's Monday the 12th and the big weekend is almost here! Glenn's Global Games in Edmonton kicks off on Thursday this week and we are all excited to be seeing you in Edmonton.

Festivities kick off at 4:00 pm on Thursday the 15th at our hotel, The Sutton Place. Here is the exact address for finding directions or contacting them.

Sutton Place Hotel

10235 101 Street NW
Edmonton, AB T5J 3E8, Canada
(780) 428-7111

On this page you will find the most up to date itinerary for the events. One major change is on Saturday the 17th where we'll be playing our 3 on 3 tournament at Rexall Place instead of at Kevin Lowe's house. A number of reasons went into the decision to move it but we are sure we've made the correct decision.

During the events in Edmonton Glenn will be offering several limited edition/numbered items. You can reserve in advance specific items and/or packages as well as request certain numbers before the items are sold or put up for auction. Orders will be fulfilled based on availability and on a first come first serve basis. The lowest numbers and numbers related to Glenn's career will be held in reserve for auction or for sale at Glenn's discretion.

We wish you all safe travels and look forward to seeing you in oil country!

Alberta Cancer Foundation

Monday, January 12. 2009

glenn's charityDear Glenn Anderson & friends,

The Alberta Cancer Foundation is proud and grateful to partner with Glenn Anderson and the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation to raise funds for prostate Cancer Research at the Cross Cancer Institute. 100% of funds raised will go directly to leading edge research to develop new and more effectively targeted prostate cancer therapies.

Donating online is incredibly easy. You can either go to edmontonoilers.com and click on the Oilers Score logo/link provided in the bottom right column, or go directly to the Oilers Score home page on the Alberta Cancer Foundation website: http://donate.albertacancer.ca/NetCommunity/oilersscore. This will take you to the Oilers Score donation page.

From there you can choose to either:

-          Make a one time donation to the Alberta Cancer Foundation; or

-          Make a pledge based on the number of goals scored by the Edmonton Oilers during the regular season.

Once you have selected either "Donate Now" or "Pledge Now" just fill out the required information on the pledge/donation form and you are finished.

If you are making a pledge, you will be emailed an invoice at the end of the season to verify your visa number and to authorize the final transaction.

On behalf of the Alberta Cancer Foundation we thank you for your support in helping us reach our goal of a cancer-free future.
